CryptoFury AMA with Playermon: A Recap

We recently had an exciting AMA session with the CryptoFury community, where our CEO, Jisheng Tan, and Chief Growth Officer, Kishor M., shared insights into the Playermon metaverse. Here’s a recap of the key topics we discussed.

Our Vision: A Community-Centric Metaverse

Playermon is more than just a play-to-earn game; it's a boundless metaverse inspired by classics like Animal Crossing and Pokémon. Our vision is to create a vibrant, community-driven platform where players can explore, battle, socialize, and unleash their creativity. We aim to build a fun and engaging social experience where players can visit each other’s SpaceDens, interact, and forge new friendships.

Gameplay and a Dual-Token Economy

Our gameplay revolves around collecting and battling with space companions called Playermons. The game features a rich story mode, PvP battles in the Tower of Creator, and customizable SpaceDens.

The Playermon economy is powered by two tokens:

• $PYM (Playermon Token): The governance token used for breeding, crafting, and purchasing exclusive assets like Genesis Eggs.
• $SGEM (Space Gem): The in-game currency earned through various activities, including story mode and PvP battles.

This dual-token system is designed to create a balanced and sustainable economy that rewards both players and long-term investors.

Achievements and Roadmap Highlights

We’ve achieved significant milestones, including a successful Pre-IDO and our first IDO on Polkabridge. We have more IDOs lined up on GameStation, Enjinstarter, and Oxbull.

Upcoming milestones:

• TGE, DEX, and CEX Listing: November 22nd
• Genesis Egg Sale: First week of December
• Game Launch: Expected before Christmas 2021

Security and Long-Term Value

We prioritize the security of our players' assets. By allowing users to hold their tokens and NFTs in their decentralized wallets, we minimize the risk of platform-level hacks.

For long-term investors, we offer a staking program and a deflationary token-burning mechanism. A significant portion of the tokens from the Genesis Egg sale and breeding fees will be permanently burned, increasing the value of $PYM over time.

Community and Global Reach

Our goal is to make Playermon accessible to a global audience. We are actively working on translating the game into multiple languages and building a diverse, inclusive community.
