We are lucky to have with us, Playermon, a boundless NFT Game where anyone can explore and battle in the universe with their favorite Playermons. Joining us today is @jisheng @NFTJTN

Hi guys, tell us a little about yourselves and what you do at Playermon

Ji sheng: Hey @Danfrumps23, good to meet you here. I am Jisheng the CEO of Playermon.

Together with me is Kishor, he is the Chief Growth Officer of Playermln

Frumps | OIG: Great to meet you both and have you come here and talk about your fantastic project!

Tell us a little about the origins of the game, when was the concept created? What inspired it? What is the basic premise of the game? And what is your mission and vision for this project?

NFT: Playermon founders have a gaming background, and Playermon is a boundless Play to Earn NFT Game where anyone can explore and battle in the universe with their favorite space companions called Playermons!

Ji sheng: Playermon was conceptualized to become the next leading play-to-earn NFT game in the blockchain industry — a game accessible to everyone, and provides players, creators, and investors with the ability to generate income based on their creativity and “playformance”.We aim to empower the Playermon community creators, players, and investors!

The Team’s mission is to create an NFT game that provides high engagement value among players, and where through gaming, they can experience the following:

1. Immersive storytelling that provides players with exciting experiences in the battlefields;
2. Strategizing and battling against one another using their gaming prowess;
3. Colonizing planets to harvest resources in peace;
4. Breed/create new Playermons with unique features and better stats; and,
5. A Metaverse Space where community members can generate income

Frumps | OIG: Brilliant. These 5 things you outlined look amazing, this will definitely ensure high engagement and I can see there are multiple ways to earn through your game

There are many hurdles when trying to create a product from an idea, a talented and dedicated team is vital in order to make a project a success.

Can you tell us a little about the core team behind Playermon and their qualifications and experience in the blockchain gaming world?

Ji sheng: The core tech team behind the project comes from Game Dev background. Mainly developers and designers that have developed many AAA games and with co-founders owning one of the largest gaming studios in SEA prior to joining the team and building the game. Personally, I run a Blockchain Academy and have been teaching and incubating blockchain projects. Besides, we have a global team that is contributing their talent including Marketing, Project Management as well to ensure that the whole journey is smooth sailing.

I started my career with an OTC Broker and thereafter worked in the USA (Silicon Valley) with Asia-Tech a B2B Marketplace. I then moved to Singapore and started my own hedge fund. I then founded Future1Exchange a licensed cryptocurrency exchange in Europe, Estonia. He then joined Propine as Director of Business Development. Propine is a Singapore MAS regulated Tokenization and Custody service provider for Digital Assets serving Institutions/Funds/FamilyOffice/VC and Crypto Exchanges.

Kishor M received his MBA from ITM in association with Southern New Hampshire University Manchester, USA, Mastering Alternative Investments Certificate from INSEAD Campus in Singapore, his certificate in Computer Network & Internet Applications Course(CEP) from IIT, and educated in Derivatives instruments from the University of California Berkeley (Ext), USA.

Frumps | OIG: Wow, extremely impressive and it’s obvious your team’s talents and experience encompass all the things you need to drive this project to the top!

Let’s move on to the game.

How will the game function? What will the gameplay look like, what different modes do you have?

Ji sheng: Playermon will initially provide a Tamagotchi-like experience where a player can feed, play and bathe his/her Playermons. Further, it will be expanded to use a turn-based card gameplay system. All players need to form a team with 3 Playermons. Strategically, the placement of Playermons can provide an advantage over the opponent. The winner will gain token rewards (SGEM) and the Playermons will gain experiences when playing on the Story mode.

In the long term, Playermon Team aims to provide a space for the players to express their creativity.

Players can sell and mint their own design game asset in our marketplace.

• Each unique design of the game asset will be able to use on the owner’s own planet as a decorative asset.
• Players can design, own, and monetize their game assets.
• Each planet becomes a community-built mini-game platform.

Playermon aims to provide an enjoyable, addictive, and sustainable game economy that focuses on proven tokenomics, burning, and game mechanisms based on the founders’ and team’s passion for the gaming industry and NFT games.

Frumps | OIG: This sounds incredible, I love the idea that each planet will become a community-built mini-game platform. There are endless possibilities with this!

You have already spoken a little about the play-to-earn elements, but can you outline to our community the different ways that players can earn in your games?

Ji sheng: First they can earn by breeding the playermon that looks like this

By breeding, they will combine 2 NFT together. Say Wick and Cosmos

And they will create a new NFT that they can sell in the marketplace

If they are able to come out with a Rare breed or 1 with good stats. They are able to sell for a higher price

Besides, they can engage in a PvP that looks like this where the winner walk away with SGEM

They could also build their own community and engage with the community by doing unique 3D NFT collectibles that others could buy and put on their planet as decoration material

In summary, the way to earn is to stay within the Playermon Metaverse and really engage

NFT: Playermon is basically giving you the opportunity to spend your day playing your favorite game and being paid for it

Frumps | OIG: This is incredible, so many unique ways to earn, and as @NFTJTN said, all while playing this amazing game, the visuals look great. I am seriously excited after this answer!

Ji sheng: You could also earn SGEM by playing, bathing, and patting your Playermon in the Spaceden gameplay

Frumps | OIG: It really is Tamagotchi inspired, this is a very nice feature!

You just spoke about one of your tokens SGEM. We see that your project implements a dual token mechanism for the game, what are the two tokens and what are their utilities? When and where can we get them? Why would holding them be a good investment?

Ji sheng: We have 2 tokens namely PYM and SGEM.

You could get PYM by participating in our upcoming PreIDO Sale on 3rd Nov / our partner launchpad which is coming on the 3rd week of November.

For SGEM, you could get them by playing the game, keep yourself engaged in the metaverse and you will find yourself earning them.

NFT: PYM

Governance: Token holders will be able to shape and vote for the direction of the game universe.

In-Game Payment Method: Players can purchase eggs or Playermons in the marketplace players can upgrade and breed their Playermons Players can purchase items to craft new items and to build and upgrade their space colonial base. Token holders can join the open-world planet to explore dungeonsToken holders can expand their space colonial base with community-built decorative game assets for future planet expansion. Creators can mint their originally-designed game assets in the marketplace in future expansion. Creators can list their originally-designed game assets in the marketplace.

SGEM can be used to purchase in-game services and items.

SGEM will be used for upgrading and breeding Playermons.

SGEM will be used for crafting and upgrading items.

SGEM can be used in purchasing non-NFT in-game assets.

Since SGEM has an elastic number of supply, a burning mechanism on every in-game activities and transactions will be applied to prevent its surplus in the game.

Ji sheng: Playermon Planet platform is a social creator platform that provides a social extensive gateway to creators and artists to publish their diverse games in playermon planet. It is an integrated platform for the GameFi projects creator to launch their mini-games on our playermon galaxy and planet. By leveraging our ecosystem through SGem distribution and PYM collateral.

Can you tell us what we have to look forward to in your roadmap?

Ji sheng: In the short term, keep an eye for the PreIDO on 3 Nov. Then we will have our launchpad partners IDO on the 3rd week of November. If you missed the presale, don’t worry, you could buy after the DEX listing and we will have our Egg sale in the 1st week of December. And the game will launch after the reveal of the egg before the end of the year

Ji sheng: We will be partnering up with different games studios to launch the mini-games on the Playermon Metaverse Planet. The players will be able to visit the different planets available and earn by engaging with the different planets on board.

Partners would also promote their own creation with their IP to promote their brand in our playermon metaverse

Imagine every planet as a different community where we could interact with each other in the metaverse

NFT: In traditional gaming, you don't own the in-game asset or the community but with blockchain games such as Playermon you can own and grow your community and create your own in-game asset

Ji sheng: We welcome different gaming talents to join us to develop more variance of gameplay. Moreover, we are open to DeFi element in our Planet. So we are open to partnering with DeFi protocols and creating universal basic income for the Playermon Gamer.

Ji sheng: Current traditional game studios are hesitant to join the blockchain GameFi space. So, Playermon will be positioned as a social platform to provide traditional game studios a way to bridge their existing games to the Playermon Metaverse. The plan is to give them the SDK required and tools and knowledge to bridge their game over

Frumps | OIG: There is something for everyone in your game! Universal Basic Income for the Playermon Gamer sounds incredible. You becoming a bridge for traditional game studios is a very excellent idea and puts playermon in a great position

Ji sheng: Our game is made for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS

But it will have some challenges to be listed on the Apple App Store. The others should not be a major issue

NFT: Traditional games have been established in the whole system since last 30 years. Play to Earn Game is just started not a long time ago, it gains exponential growth in terms of transactions and total active users. It takes 10 years plus for cryptocurrency like bitcoin to become mainstream, but we foresee that gamefi will gain momentum faster than cryptocurrency 1.0. In fact, gamefi brings a whole new community to become a crypto user. This is what we want to see. The fundamental of gaming lets back to basic, we create good games and fun games to play. And we reward them and empower users to have better financial rewards. The will create a flying wheel to the game growth.

Ji sheng: In fact, our co-founder has released many titles with some titles hitting a 15-million user base on the mobile App Store

So bridging over traditional games to blockchain games is something that we can and will do
